Taking the time!

When I started writing my blog my intention was for it to be an outlet for me to express things that were happening in our world. There were very few that knew our daily struggles, and it felt great to share our journey.

Each night I sat down and wrote from my heart. Things that were on my mind, things that were bothering me, or random thoughts that I was having that particular day. I have always loved writing so it came so easily for me. I have heard from so many of you with suggestions, words of support, and even similar stories that you wanted to share. It truly has made me feel connected to so many of you.

Your love and support for Ella and our family is evident. You call, text, and private message me often to see how she is doing. Your prayers have lifted us all up, and never has there not been a kind word. For that, I thank you all.

The greatest feeling is knowing how much you care. I have run into people who have told me they read my blog every day. I have gotten messages from people who tell me that catching up on my blog has become part of their daily routine. I have followers from as far away as Australia and Kenya. When I talk to people, instead of asking me how everyone is, they reference a post and I know they are keeping up.

Every day we have our struggles, but when we lay our heads on the pillow each night, I know we are so blessed. Ella has some things on the horizon medical wise and I promise to keep you all updated. Her EEG is coming up, and we are looking forward to seeing if the Keppra is doing what it is supposed to be doing. Our Boston trip is still in limbo because there are still some specialists not seeing patients in person. We will wait that out as long we can. I am also hoping in the next month we can get that mask to stay on long enough for her assistive tech evaluation, and we can’t forget the start of school.

I will still be blogging, but I won’t be committing to posting every day. I will get on to update you and continue to share fun little family stories as they pop up. That being said, I am going to be using Instagram more and will post stories throughout the day. Our life isn’t boring and things always come up.

If you want to follow our daily happenings please do follow our page. I went a little crazy today! I will posting on Facebook too, just not as often. Again, thank you all! I will still be here. It just might not be as frequently!
